RAOI Fellowship

A RAOI Fellowship is the first step towards validating your proficiency and expertise in your profession. RAOI Membership is mandatory to apply for Fellowship. Applicants must meet the case requirements and requisite CE hours specified below in order to qualify. Successful applicants will be awarded a RAOI Fellowship Certificate with a validity of 3 years and a medal. After 3 years, Fellows will be required to revalidate their certificate. This can be done at the time of Membership renewal.

RAOI Fellowship Maintenance Requirements:

  • RAOI Fellows must be active Members to retain their Fellowship. The Fellowship certificate issued will bear a validity of 3 years. After 3 years, Fellows must ensure they renew their RAOI Membership AND Revalidate their Fellowship certificate. Non-renewal will result in delisting from the Members and Fellows directory. If the renewal is not done within a year from the date of expiry, past dues will have to be paid should the applicant decide to renew in future.

  • Submit evidence of a minimum of 20 CE hours annually at the time of renewal for revalidation of Fellowship certificate

  • Attendance to at least two RAOI Annual Conference or the National Annual Symposium of the candidate’s specialty in 3 years

Fees payable at this time to receive a new updated Fellowship certificate is:

  • Only one Revalidation Fee is applicable for all credentialing status (i.e. a candidate has to revalidate more than one credential e.g. Fellowship and Mastership) if re-validation and 3-year membership fee is paid at one time, totalling US$/€/£ 650. All the updated certificates will be provided with a validity of 3 years.
